In February 2005 I was awarded the "Commercial Salesperson of the
Year" award by the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors. The
award is based not only on high sales volume, but also on community service,
business ethics & cooperation with other agents, and on activities
and involvement in the real estate community both locally and nationally.
The Kansas City industrial market is made up of just over 230 million
square feet of space in 5,000 properties. There are over 500 commercial
real estate brokers, many of them trained in one weekend and looking to
make quick "deals". My clients will tell you that I value their
relationship over their deal. This is a relationship business.
I am one of only eight industrial brokers in Kansas City to have earned
both the CCIM designation from the Commercial Real Estate Institute and
the SIOR designation from the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors.
